Role overview
Telecom and transmission engineer required for installation, configuration, testing and fault restoration of microwave and fibre transmission systems in Qatar.
Key responsibilities
- Install and configure telecom transmission and TXM equipment
- Perform link testing and commissioning
- Troubleshoot transmission faults and restore failed links
- Support microwave transmission activities
- Work with fibre transmission systems where required
- Analyse transmission alarms and faults
- Maintain technical documentation and reports
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of relevant telecom experience
- Experience with transmission and TXM equipment
- Practical knowledge of microwave transmission
- Fibre transmission knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting skills
