Role overview

Structural Welder for structural steel, supports, frames and fabricated assemblies. AED 1,700 to 3,200 a month.

Key responsibilities

  • Weld structural steel members, beams, columns and plates
  • Use SMAW, FCAW or MIG as the job requires
  • Read structural drawings and weld symbols
  • Prepare joints and fit-up for welding
  • Inspect and repair welds
  • Follow hot work and fall protection procedures

Requirements

  • Welder qualification certificate (AWS D1.1 or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience in structural steel, supports, frames and fabricated assemblies
  • Able to pass a practical weld test
  • Experience on GCC industrial, oil and gas or construction projects is preferred
  • Valid passport
  • Medically fit for overseas employment
