Role overview
Senior process engineers to lead process support for refinery and petrochemical units in Abu Dhabi and Ruwais.
Key responsibilities
- Lead process engineering support for refinery and petrochemical units
- Monitor plant performance against production targets
- Lead process troubleshooting and optimisation
- Review PFDs, P&IDs and operating philosophies
- Run process studies and debottlenecking assessments
- Give technical support to operations and maintenance
- Take part in HAZOP, HAZID, MOC and PSSR
- Coordinate with licensors, EPC contractors and technology vendors
- Support shutdown, turnaround, commissioning and startup
- Analyse process data and recommend corrective action
- Mentor junior process engineers
- Prepare technical reports and engineering recommendations
Requirements
- B.E. or B.Tech in chemical or process engineering
- 8 to 15 years or more of process engineering experience
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for overseas employment

General requirements for these refinery roles
- Medically fit, and able to meet GCC employment and visa requirements
- Relevant refinery, petrochemical, oil and gas, gas-processing or heavy-process industry experience is preferred
- Willing to work shift-based, plant or field roles where the job requires it
- Good English communication and technical reporting
- Understands and follows HSE, permit-to-work, LOTO and emergency-response procedures
- Educational and experience documents may be verified by the employer
- Able to provide educational certificates, experience letters and supporting documents
- Final selection rests with the employer's interview, technical assessment and approval
- A pre-employment medical, document verification and visa processing may be required

Salary & benefits
AED 10,000–16,000 /mo — approximately ₹259,400 – ₹415,000 per month (indicative).
