Role overview
A senior electrical estimation engineer for high-rise residential buildings, residential developments and villas in the UAE, independently preparing complete, competitive electrical estimates from tender review and quantity take-off through vendor evaluation, pricing and bid submission. AED 7,000 to 14,000 a month.
Experience requirement. Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience, with proven project exposure to high-rise buildings, residential buildings and villa construction. UAE project experience is strongly preferred. You should be able to demonstrate your technical knowledge, project responsibilities and hands-on experience during the interview.
Key responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and BOQs
- Perform detailed electrical quantity take-offs
- Prepare project cost estimates and tender pricing
- Prepare and review electrical BOQs
- Carry out material, labour and installation rate analysis
- Prepare estimates for LV electrical systems, lighting, power and associated building services
- Evaluate project scope and identify missing or unclear items
- Raise pre-tender technical queries and clarifications
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare technical and commercial comparison statements
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
- Coordinate with design, procurement, commercial and project teams
- Identify value engineering and cost optimisation opportunities
- Prepare tender summaries, exclusions, qualifications and assumptions
- Support tender negotiations and post-tender clarifications
- Maintain up-to-date cost databases and historical pricing
- Review actual project costs against estimates to improve future estimates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a relevant discipline
- Strong knowledge of electrical building services
- Proven experience in tendering, BOQs and quantity take-offs
- Strong knowledge of rate analysis and project costing
- Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Good technical, commercial and negotiation skills
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for overseas employment

Salary & benefits
AED 7,000–14,000 /mo — approximately ₹181,600 – ₹363,200 per month (indicative). Final salary depends on your experience, skills, communication and interview performance, and on the employer's selection.
