Rubber Plantation Worker (Skilled Rubber Tapper)

Role overview

Skilled rubber tappers for plantations in Malaysia. RM 1,700 per month for the first three months, then around RM 2,700 depending on the quantity of rubber collected and the weather. Free accommodation; food is self-managed. Two-year contract, 8 hours daily. A working video of your tapping is required with the application.

Key responsibilities

• Tap latex using specialised knives, cutting the bark precisely without damaging the tree's inner layers
• Mount collection cups and gather liquid latex and coagulated cup lumps into buckets
• Transport collected latex to the processing facility or central collection point
• Clear brush around tree bases and keep the trees healthy
• Apply required stimulants as instructed
• Clean and maintain tapping knives, cups and collection tools

Requirements

• Must be a SKILLED rubber tapper - this is not a trainee role
• A working video demonstrating your rubber tapping is required during the application
• 8 working hours daily, 2-year contract
• Aged 23 to 44, as required for the Malaysian work permit
• Comfortable with outdoor plantation work in all weather
• Valid passport and medically fit for overseas deployment

Salary & benefits

MYR 1,700–2,700 /mo — approximately ₹39,400 – ₹62,600 per month (indicative). The role is offered on a 2-year contract. Benefits such as accommodation, transport and other allowances vary by employer and are confirmed in your contract.
