Role overview
A contractor requires plumbing supervisors to oversee several crews and foremen on large building and MEP projects. MEP means mechanical, electrical and plumbing, the building services trades that must work together. AED 4,000 to 6,500 a month, indicative.
Experience requirement. Candidates must have at least 10 years of plumbing experience, with time supervising crews on large sites. A diploma is an advantage.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise several plumbing crews and foremen across floors or blocks
- Plan manpower and material needs against the programme
- Carry out quality checks on supply, drainage and sanitary installations
- Inspect pipe jointing, supports, falls and sleeve positions before they are covered
- Witness hydrostatic pressure tests and sign test records with the engineer
- Coordinate with electrical, HVAC and fire-fighting trades on shared shafts and ceilings
- Review shop drawings against site conditions and raise queries
- Keep snag lists, assign closure work and verify it before handover
- Report weekly progress, delays and shortages to the project team
- Conduct safety briefings and report incidents
Requirements
- At least 10 years of plumbing experience, including crew supervision
- ITI Plumber or an equivalent trade certificate is preferred
- A diploma in a related engineering subject is an advantage
- Strong drawing reading, including shop drawings and isometrics
- Knowledge of uPVC, PPR (polypropylene), CPVC, HDPE, GI and copper systems
- Clear English to work with engineers and clients
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for overseas employment

About the work
You will watch over the quality and progress of plumbing work across floors, blocks or whole buildings. You are the link between the foremen, the site engineer and the other trades. The employer expects firm quality control, accurate test records and early warning of problems.

Salary & benefits
AED 4,000–6,500 /mo — approximately ₹103,800 – ₹168,600 per month (indicative).
