Role overview
Pastry and bakery helpers for bakeries, pastry kitchens, hotels, restaurants, cafes and central production facilities in the UAE. AED 1,500 to 2,200 a month.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the bakery and pastry team with daily preparation and production
- Weigh and measure flour, sugar, butter, chocolate and other ingredients
- Prepare ingredients to the recipe and the production instructions
- Assist with doughs, batters, creams, fillings and basic bakery preparations
- Assist with breads, cakes, cookies, muffins, pastries and related products
- Prepare trays, tins, moulds and baking sheets
- Assist with portioning, shaping and arranging products
- Support basic filling, glazing, icing and finishing under supervision
- Assist with cooling and transferring finished products
- Arrange ingredients and mise en place for production
- Keep utensils, bowls, mixers and workstations clean
- Store ingredients to the food safety requirements
- Follow allergen control and cross contamination procedures
- Follow standard recipes and production instructions
- Assist the team through high volume production periods
Requirements
- Bakery, pastry, commercial kitchen or food production experience is preferred
- Basic familiarity with bakery or pastry ingredients is an advantage
- Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Good hygiene and food handling practice
- Able to work safely around ovens, mixers and other bakery equipment
- Able to work as part of a bakery and pastry team
- Willing to work shifts as the operation requires
- Medically fit and able to meet UAE employment and visa requirements
- Valid passport

Salary & benefits
AED 1,500–2,200 /mo — approximately ₹38,900 – ₹57,100 per month (indicative). The role is offered on a 2-year renewable contract. Final salary depends on your experience, skills, communication and interview performance, and on the employer's selection.
