Role overview

Offshore Rigger for load rigging, lifting support and material positioning. AED 2,500 to 5,000 a month.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and rig loads for crane and manual lifts
  • Select and inspect slings, shackles and lifting accessories
  • Act as banksman and signal to crane operators
  • Secure loads and control tag lines during lifts
  • Maintain rigging gear and quarantine anything damaged
  • Work to lift plans and exclusion zones

Requirements

  • Rigger or banksman certification (OPITO or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience in load rigging, lifting support and material positioning
  • Knowledge of load weights, sling angles and hand signals
  • Experience on GCC oil and gas, EPC or LNG projects is preferred
  • BOSIET or FOET offshore survival certification, or the project's equivalent
  • Offshore medical fitness certificate
  • Valid passport

Salary & benefits

Final salary depends on your experience, skills, communication and interview performance, and on the employer's selection.
