Role overview
Mechanical technicians for pipeline and industrial maintenance in the UAE, covering inspection, preventive and corrective work in the field. AED 5,200 a month.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical maintenance and inspection
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance
- Inspect mechanical equipment and identify defects
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems
- Repair, replace and adjust mechanical components
- Assist with pipeline maintenance
- Support field maintenance teams
- Inspect equipment for abnormal conditions, leakage and mechanical issues
- Use the right hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Follow approved maintenance procedures and work instructions
- Coordinate with supervisors and engineers
- Keep the work location in good order
- Follow HSE procedures, PPE requirements and permit-to-work systems
- Write basic maintenance reports and tell supervisors about defects
Requirements
- ITI or diploma in mechanical engineering, or a relevant technical qualification
- Hands-on mechanical experience
- Able to read basic mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment
- Basic English communication
- Able to work outdoors in field conditions
- Physically fit and safety conscious
- Valid passport
