Role overview
Mechanical assistants to support pipeline and mechanical maintenance teams in the UAE. AED 3,300 a month, and the employer may consider freshers with technical training.
Key responsibilities
- Assist mechanical technicians and patrolmen in the field
- Support pipeline inspection and maintenance
- Help identify and report visible pipeline abnormalities
- Help spot leakage, damaged areas and maintenance needs
- Carry tools, equipment and materials for maintenance work
- Assist technicians during repair and maintenance
- Help with cleaning and housekeeping around pipeline and work areas
- Assist with equipment preparation and setting up the worksite
- Follow instructions from supervisors and technicians
- Follow site safety procedures and PPE requirements
Requirements
- Basic English communication
- Physically fit for outdoor field work
- Willing to work in different locations
- Good discipline and willingness to learn
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for overseas employment
Preferred skills
- ITI, vocational or technical qualification
- Mechanical background
- Oil and gas or industrial maintenance
