You keep the line running. That means feeding raw material in, taking finished goods out, doing simple assembly or packing, and checking items by eye. The work involves long periods of standing, repetitive movements, and in some plants noise, heat or rotating shifts. The employer expects accuracy, a clean work area and respect for machine guards and plant safety rules.
