Role overview

A fit-out or MEP contractor requires commercial plumbers for hotels, malls, offices, restaurants and campuses. You will plumb shops, kitchens and washrooms, often inside buildings that stay open. AED 1,800 to 2,600 a month, indicative.

Experience requirement. Candidates must have at least 2 years of plumbing experience, including fit-out or renovation work. Commercial kitchen experience is an advantage.

Key responsibilities

Carry out fit-out plumbing for shops, restaurants, offices and washroom blocks
Install grease traps and connect commercial kitchen drainage
Fit floor drains, trench drains and waste outlets in kitchens
Connect sinks, dishwashers, ice machines and hand-wash basins to supply and waste
Install washroom ranges with many WCs, basins and urinals at scale
Tap into existing water and drain lines with a controlled, planned shutdown
Use PPR (polypropylene) fusion welding and uPVC solvent jointing for new runs
Coordinate access with ceiling, tiling and other MEP trades
Pressure-test new branches and check for leaks before ceilings close
Protect finished areas and clean up daily

Requirements

At least 2 years of plumbing experience in commercial or fit-out work
ITI Plumber or an equivalent trade certificate is preferred
Able to read fit-out plumbing drawings and kitchen layouts
Knowledge of PPR, uPVC, CPVC and copper pipe
Basic English or Hindi to follow instructions
Valid passport
Medically fit for overseas employment

About the work

You will connect new outlets to existing risers and drains, install kitchen drainage and fit washrooms in numbers. Work is often done around ceiling, tiling and other MEP crews, so planning your time with them matters. The employer expects neat finishing, minimal disruption to the live building and strict hygiene.

Ideal candidate

You have fitted out shops, kitchens or washrooms and know how to work around other trades. You keep a tidy site and finish to a standard that a client will accept.

Salary & benefits

AED 1,800–2,600 /mo — approximately ₹46,700 – ₹67,400 per month (indicative).
