Role overview
Electricians are required for offices, retail fit-outs, hotels, restaurants, showrooms and commercial complexes. The work is fast-moving interior electrical installation and modification. AED 1,500 to 3,000 a month, indicative.
Experience requirement. Candidates must have 2 or more years of fit-out or commercial building experience, with a good standard of finishing.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out fit-out wiring and modifications to the approved drawings
- Install LED, emergency and decorative lighting
- Run power supplies to shop counters, kitchens and back-of-house equipment
- Install panels and sub-DBs (sub-distribution boards)
- Route cables neatly in ceilings, raised floors and risers
- Terminate and label circuits clearly at the board
- Test and inspect circuits before handover
- Coordinate positions of fittings with ceiling, air-conditioning and interior teams
- Isolate supplies properly when working in live or occupied buildings
- Correct snags raised at the final walk-through
Requirements
- 2 or more years of commercial or fit-out electrical experience
- ITI Electrician, a diploma in electrical engineering or an equivalent trade certificate is preferred
- Able to read lighting layouts and small power drawings
- Basic English or Hindi
- A DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) or other local authority competency approval is an advantage where the employer requires it
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for overseas employment

Salary & benefits
AED 1,500–3,000 /mo — approximately ₹38,900 – ₹77,800 per month (indicative). Final salary depends on your experience, skills, communication and interview performance, and on the employer's selection.
