Role overview
Coating/Painting Inspector for surface preparation, blasting and protective coating inspection. AED 8,000 to 16,000 a month.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect surface preparation, blasting and coating application
- Check ambient conditions, surface profile and dry film thickness
- Verify coating systems against the project specification
- Witness holiday tests, adhesion tests and repairs
- Record inspection results and raise non-conformances
- Work with blasting and painting crews on quality
Requirements
- NACE or AMPP coating inspector certification, or FROSIO
- Hands-on experience in surface preparation, blasting and protective coating inspection
- Knowledge of ISO 8501 and ISO 12944 or equivalent coating standards
- Familiarity with offshore coating systems
- Experience on GCC oil and gas, EPC or LNG projects is preferred
- BOSIET or FOET offshore survival certification, or the project's equivalent
- Offshore medical fitness certificate
- Valid passport

Salary & benefits
AED 8,000–16,000 /mo — approximately ₹207,500 – ₹415,000 per month (indicative). Final salary depends on your experience, skills, communication and interview performance, and on the employer's selection.
