Role overview
Experienced all-round masons for maintenance and construction work in large industrial plants in the GCC, covering masonry, concrete, plastering, floor and wall tiling, refractory and associated carpentry. AED 3,000 to 4,400 a month, with food and accommodation allowance included.
Experience requirement. At least 10 years as a multi-skilled mason, with experience in a large fertiliser, oil, petrochemical, power or other industrial plant. You should be able to carry out masonry, plastering, tiling and both castable and brick refractory work on your own, safely and with limited supervision.

- Carry out a range of masonry work independently
- Carry out concrete and cement work

- Prepare surfaces and materials for masonry and refractory work
- Choose and apply the right construction and refractory materials for the job
- Carry out masonry repair and maintenance
- Operate concrete machines, paving breakers, vibrators, mixers and compactors
- Assist with thermal insulation work where required
- Maintain masonry tools and equipment
- Follow the plant's HSE procedures and work instructions
- Keep the work area safe and organised
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Aged 25 to 45, as stated by the employer
- Experience in a large fertiliser, oil, petrochemical, power or other industrial plant
- Able to carry out masonry work independently
- Practical experience in plastering and in floor and wall tiling
- Practical experience in castable and brick refractory work
- Able to operate the relevant construction tools and equipment
- Fair working knowledge of English: able to speak, read and write basic English and understand work and safety instructions
- SSC or secondary school qualification preferred
- Relevant vocational training preferred
- Exposure to thermal insulation work is an advantage
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for industrial employment overseas

Salary and allowances
